I haven't written in a few weeks and there is lots to share. Cameron is doing a lot better. He is learning how to deal with his anger as well as coping with his ADHD. We pray every night for him and I think he appreciates it.
The older these kids get, the harder it is to find child care for them. Cameron is too old for a daycare and so I wanted to find something else for him. He will go to camp at our church the first week of July and then I enrolled him into summer camp. Which is a lot more expensive, but only for a month and it will be a lot better for him. He will start First grade in September and I will go part time then so I can spend more time with him and we can spend more time doing physical activities as I think that's what he needs with his diagnosis!
I went to the doctor and was also diagnosed with ADD. The medication is really helping me have a positive outlook on life. I feel like I can sit still and enjoy things and I can concentrate on what people are saying. Poor Aaron! ADD and ADHD in the same household!! He's a trooper though and he's great about everything.
I have also been trying to eat better and exercise when I can. This is working out alright. With the new medication, I don't really have much of an appetite but that's not how I want to lose weight. It helps that Cameron loves to do outside activities so I can take him pretty much anywhere and he will love it because he's so active.
We are still trying to have a baby. Well... we aren't actively trying but we aren't preventing either. We put it in God's hands and so far we feel really positive about it. It doesn't help that everyone around me is pregnant, but that's okay. Good for them. Thank you for your continuation of prayer and please continue to pray for us.
I just thought I would check in because it's been about a month. Take care and God bless.
